Finally after 3 strangely long days and 2 sleepless nights...it has all come to an end.The camp is OVER.
Ahh..i got so much to talk about :D
Day1:
Were were supposed to go to Pulau Ubin to hike.DAMN...we hiked from 9am till 3pm..and we hiked a crazily long 10km plus/minus. We took a bumboat there and the exhaust from those boats are friggin stinky...diesel i think.My helis definately smell MUCH better ;)
Oh..and for that day...we were not on the mainland so we had to have food rationing...WTF.
The food rations are meant to be shared among 4 ppl and they included 1 loaf of cheapo bread, 1 can of baked beans in tomato sauce(yuck),1 can of sardines in tomato sauce(yuck),canned curry tuna(ok lah),1 packet oif soya milk..but THANK GOD for the canned sausages.
That was the only one that i liked...so much till i was the one carrying it in my pocket throughout the hike :DD
The sausages meant soo much to me.
Night1:
Dinner was catered food...buffet style. I hate those bloody student leaders!!!
What's the point of trying to get us all quiet before we can get our food?And what's up with getting someone to pray and 'bless' our food.It's a total waste of time knowing that majority of the ppl are Non-Catholics.
OH...and what happens when there's no one willing to pray for you dumbasses??(see bottom part)
Ah..then we went to bring our sleeping stuff to the hall at 8 plus which is freaking early.
And they shut the doors...trying to suffocate us by turning off the fan.They only turn it on when we are quiet but the turn it off when we're noisy(cant be helped most of the times) then the camp leader(i think his name is Evan?) tells us 'priviledges can be taken away'
We were allowed to roam the hall before the lights went out...IF we were not noisy. We were playing 'true or dare'. LOL...it was fun...i learnt many new things abt my friends knowing tt it is only a few more days before i'll not see them as my classmates again.
Slept quite ok that night. I slept at 12am but woke up at 12.20am when Russell went to squirt water on my hair trying to find out if i was asleep. Most ppl were awake...esp. those around me. So i decided to TC with Russell, Julian,and Benjamin. The crazy camp leader told us to shut up once again so we went to sleep. I then slept from 1am till 3am. I woke up at 3 cos i was feeling
cold so i used my jacket to cover my body(i was using my sleeping bag as my pillow;) LOLOL)
I slept till abt 4.30am...i wanted to go to the toilet so i went with Julian cos he was awake too.
Went back to sleep and woke up at 5.30am. Stoned till 6am when we were suposed to be awake.
Day2:Woke up...went to change into track pants cos we were having rock-climbing and abseiling. Assembled back into the hall and we were dispatched class by class to the Grand Stand followed by the primary sch canteen.
Wasted alot of time getting our food class by class..and we were NOT supposed to touch our fod till the morning prayers were said..Bullshit!
The food was soggy fried beehoon and the portions were very little.
The food was all gone by the time i was ready to have my 2nd serving.
Our class went rock-climbing and abseiling first. OMG..both of them were REAL SCARY!!
The guy from ODAC club was real ballsy when he demo(ed) the abseiling.
Damn..looking at his body go parallel to the ground standing off the building, hanging with a rope, then walking and hopping down the wall. He got down 4-storeys in a matter of abt 7 seconds which is real fast.But then again...this guy is experienced.
Everyone who did the abseiling did it WIERDLY(or maybe wrongly). The ballsy guy was kicking his body away from the wall so as to swing back to the wall for another kick.Most ppl just held on to the rope only. I tried it too and it was real scary.I did it wrongly too as described.
Then came the rock-climbing.
Another guy demo(ed) for us and he climbed all the way to the top(4th storey). Coming down was most scary...NEVER LOOK ON THE GROUND.
Climbing was difficult...cos some of the rocks didnt have a good grip.
I tried to jump and grab them a few times but it only resulted in me parting with the wall and fallind 30cm. I only climbed till the 3rd storey cos the was no grip and my fingers were painful. To come down..u were suposed to sorta like abseil down. The belayer will let go in short bursts.DAMN...the feeling of falling without safety devices is scary...i could feel weightlessness for a few times.
When i reached down...my fingers were shaking...and i couldn't even scratch my arse.
We then had our lunch. I-Zack rocks man!! The f**ked up IC saw him talking and shouted over from a distance to get out of the canteen.
Then I-Zack talked back..." Got talk ah?"
that got the IC real pissed and so he tried to act big and pick up a fight by slamming the table and shaking his chest VIOLENTLY..worst than any girl I've ever met ;)
Then we did star orienteering.Its like a treasure hunt but the 'treasure' is a sentence and you have to remember it and tell it to the ICs before you proceed to the next 'treasure'.
There were a total of 14 treasures. Some groups found all of them...we only found 4 and unsurprisingly we were the lousiest group.LOL -____-"
Ah..after that, we went to shower. I didn't want to wait 30 mins just to shower so i joined my classmates in the level5 toilet in their mass-orgy-bathing(or so it is called). BOY...it was FUN playing with water. We locked the door so the others outside didn'tknow what we were doing...not until the IC came and asked us to open the door. Obviously we were all screwed (:
All of us were wearing our underwearbathing except for Ken Chew....now i know what a circumcised dick actually looks like.Man...that scared me like hell.
Then we went to the hall to gather to be dispatched to the pri sch canteen.
Suhadra was called to stand twice cos he was talking to his friends. The 2nd time...he was real f**ked up and so he tried to pick up a fight with the baldie IC(botak) that called him out.As expected...all the vulgar words came out and he got everyones' attention. Then yongxun asked his friends not to look cos this was not uncommon though it was a nice scene.
Then everyone went to the pri sch canteen to have their dinner. Was only arnd 7.30pm did we manage to eat becos of the lack of volunteers to pray.
OH YA..and while waiting to collect our food. One of the ICs called out to another IC by using the 'kissing' method which produces the kissing sound. So happened i also used the same method to call out to Russell to come and sit in front of me.
The F**king IC got pissed with me and asked me...
"WHY DID U HAVE TO MIMIC ME??AND I WAS CALLING OUT TO MY FRIEND..WHY DO U NEED TO CALL ME(he thought i was calling out to him)? WHO DO U THINK YOU'RE CALLING??YOUR GRANDFATHER AH??
Then i replied calmly" im calling out to my friend..not you. Not to mention...my grandfather is already dead. And are you indirectly trying to call me a poser???'
He tried to pick up a fight with me...budden the guy he tried to call out to came and stopped him. The guy also asked me to stand by the vending machine.
So i got up and tried to act big. LOL:D
I laugh and pointed into that IC's face(the one that scolded me) and walked towards the vending machine walking like ian boon. It was sorta like limping with the head bobbing up and down.
Night2:
The teachers talked to us during the night till 10pm. Obviously it was boring and i was getting sleep cos of the boring talk and cos i didn't really sleep well the night before.
We brought our things to the hall and i slept VERY WELL from 12am straight to 4.30am. "WHOA!?i slept so well?' i thought.
Then i wanted to go to the toilet. So i ballsily walked on my own to the toilet. The light was off and there was no one one the path to the toilet.
I saw that the light switch was already in the 'on' position but the lights were still off.
So i walked back cos i was too scared to go on my own. THANK GOD...Haoxing was awake...and so i asked him to accompany me to the toilet.(ok..that IS gay :\ ) We took a torch light and walked into the toilet...just then the lights turned on which freaked us out.
NOW i know that there is a sensor...the lights go out if there is no thermal movement for a while.
I went back to sleep and woke up at 6am when the hall lights were on and the ICs were shouting "wake up!"
Day3/today:
woke up...went to brush my teeth and went back to the hall to assemble.
We were dispatched to pri sch canteen to eat.
There was Nasi Lemak, suasages, srcambled eggs and ikan bilis.
There was again a lack of volunteers to pray.
Then we went to MacRitchie reservoir to walk/jog the 4.8km route. Russell and i walked together all the way and the ICs behind kept pestering us to run...but we didnt :)
Went back to school to pack up...clean up the classroom and went to the sports hall to collect our camp t-shirt :D
I took the last 'L' sized shirt.
Then before i walked away from the hall, i tried to gay haoxing saying'thanks for accompanying me to the toilet last night."
Then haoxing was like "F**k you, dont try to make others get the wrond idea."
Then i went to play abit of bball...yea...after 5 days of not playing..i am totally lost. I cant rmb how i shot and it felt weird whenever i tried to take a shot.
Then i took a taxi home.

PS: It took me 2 hours 10 minutes to rmb and write this post *sigh*
